Hello

My approach

First and foremost, I want to get to know what brings you to therapy and understand the unique aspects of your experience. Sometimes, this might involve reflecting on past events, exploring what’s happening in your life right now, or discussing your hopes and concerns for the future. My goal is to listen deeply, understand your perspective, and create a safe and open space where you can explore these things more fully. This is a judgment-free space. I’m not here to label or diagnose you.

We’ll work together to discover the best ways for you to let go of what’s causing pain or difficulty right now, and to help you build resilience so you can experience greater happiness and ease. I like integrate diverse methods and techniques to support my clients, drawing on both evidence-based practices and holistic approaches that acknowledge the Mind-Body/Somatic connection.

I encourage you to bring your whole self into this space - your mind, body, heart, and soul. Whether you’re seeking clarity about the challenges that brought you here, wanting to explore how you react emotionally to others or situations, or looking for a place to connect more deeply with yourself and life’s bigger questions, this space is here for you.

I believe that by connecting and integrating your inner world with your outer experiences, you can build the resilience to navigate life’s ups and downs. With greater resilience comes more freedom to move forward and create the life you want to live.

My Background

I grew up in small town in Denmark. In college my curiosity for understanding human behaviour and the brain began. I really found it fascinating how everyone had their own ways of behaving, communicating and interacting despite us all being made of the same thing. Looking back, it's even fascinating thinking about it now. I decided to study in London due to the opportunities and high quality psychology education. This made me develop a huge respect for the mind, and continues to do so.

My personal interest in mindfulness, breath work and reflective meditative practices informs my work and these practices are a vital part of my own self-care. They have influenced how I encourage clients to build routines and rituals that foster balance and emotional resilience, and these tools may help with deepening one's ability to connect with the present moment and cultivate a greater sense of  self-awareness.

I have always considered myself a grounded and rational individual, and as I maintain these qualities in my approach, I recognise that the most important part of therapy is to integrate emotional presence and trust.

Having both psychology and psychotherapeutic training allows a deeper understanding of emotional processes, relational patterns (relationship) and my wide range of clinical experience has given me invaluable insight into the subjective human experience, which I genuinely believe should be the foundation of the work. I always say that I am a Human first and therapist second - I am here to meet my clients where they are. With all they are - even the hidden parts that they may deem unattractive, messy or uncomfortable.

My working language is English of course but I also speak Danish.
