I don't treat anxiety; I help you find the problem it's trying to solve
About me
Alongside my private clinical practice, I have experience in clinical senior leadership, leading psychotherapy services, and the development of psychoeducation workshops for trainers and organisations in London. My clinical work is grounded in contemporary psychotherapy, drawing on approaches with a particular focus on trauma-informed, somatic and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
My work across clinical practice and leadership has given me a particular insight in how psychological wellbeing is shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by our relationships, our bodies, environments and wider systems.
My approach
I’m a pluralistic, outcome-oriented therapist, which essentially means I don’t work from a single therapeutic model. Instead, I draw on a range of approaches and shape our work around what is most likely to be helpful for you. I’m a trauma therapist with lived experience, so I understand how deeply trauma can affect not only how we feel, but also how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.
My work is grounded in empathy, safety and connection. I believe that healing begins with having a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood and able to make sense of your experiences without judgement.
There are many different factors that can bring someone to therapy, and everyone comes with their own experiences, circumstances and hopes for what they would like to change or understand.
Together, we can explore what may be contributing to the difficulties you’re experiencing, as well as what might be keeping you feeling stuck. From there, we can begin to identify what might help you move forward and work towards the changes that are meaningful to you.
Because no two people are the same, I believe therapy needs to be flexible and responsive. What is helpful at one point in therapy may not be what you need later on, and our work can evolve as you do. My aim is therefore to continually adapt our work to where you are, what you need, and what you are hoping to achieve.
